During lockdown last year, Nomad in Sydney brightened up weekends with its bomboloni. Now, as we face another Covid wave, executive chef Jacqui Challinor has put them on the takeaway menu in Melbourne to help spark a little joy.
The bomboloni come in two flavours: fairy bread (burnt buttercream, strawberry glaze, hundreds and thousands), and sujuk (spicy sausage), haloumi and fried egg.
From 10am until sold out.
