We all deserve a bit of “me time” and there’s no better way to get that than by swapping busy city life for some off-the-grid relaxation. One of the best options for getting away from it all is to head to one of the In2thewild tiny holiday homes dotted around regional New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.

Tiny Harry, for example, sits at the top of a hill on an alpaca farm in Monivae, New South Wales – a region near Mudgee, around 3.5-hours' drive from Sydney. Its picture-frame windows offer views of pink and orange-hued sunrises as well as close-ups of kangaroos and other wildlife. There’s also an outdoor firepit, handy for keeping warm while you’re admiring the incredible stars in the night sky.

It’s a compact retreat, but the tiny home features all the amenities to ensure a luxurious stay for up to four people, including a queen bed by the window, a double bed in the loft, a reverse-cycle air conditioner and heating unit, fresh drinking water, and all the kitchen utensils you should need. Provisions include coffee, sugar, oil, fire-starters, matches, and soap and shampoo from Australian botanicals company Leif. The home has also been designed for minimal environmental impact thanks to solar panels and a composting toilet.

The scenic hideaway is the perfect base to explore Mudgee, which is about a 30-minute drive from Tiny Harry. Sip your way through some of the region’s finest wineries where there are more than 35 family-owned cellar doors to choose from. Some of those include Logan Wines, Lowe Wines and First Ridge, a boutique winery housed in a shipping container that specialises in Italian varietals.

It’s also a chance to taste local cheese, olive oil and honey at local eateries including Althea by Zin for baked goods, Three Tails Brewery for smoked barbeque meats and Pipeclay Pumphouse for a paddock-to-plate experience.

Green & Black’s is running a tiny home competition to celebrate the launch of its two new flavours – Maya Gold 60% Cocoa Dark Chocolate and the Organic Sea Salt Milk Chocolate.
