The star tenant of the new Sunshine Harvester Works in Fremantle, Bumplings is a specialist dumpling kitchen from Masterchef alumnus Brendan Pang.
Pang's fondest childhood memory was learning how to make wontons and noodles from scratch with his grandmother. His Mauritian-Chinese menu centres on dumplings – Sichuan chicken wontons, Chinese vegetable dumpling soup, and Pang's signature crispy pork wontons – all made inside a repurposed Airstream (caravan). There's also noodles, Mauritian pork and prawn spring rolls with dipping sauce, and more.
The "permanent pop-up" will soon open for Sunday lunch, serving bao buns and Mauritian style banh mi.
