Features

Prince of York is a wine bar and restaurant housed in a former bank in Sydney CBD.

The space features a bar just metres from the front door, which leads on to the main dining area which serves a sophisticated take on pub food. The menu includes a toastie filled with cheese and bone marrow, a pasta bake made with lamb ragu and fontina cheese and 250-gram or 800-gram rib-eye steaks or Roman lamb chops with sumac.

The ground-floor bar offers a wine list that runs light to heavy, and includes varieties that have been chosen because they are interesting, fun and unusual. A vault downstairs holds the limited-release wines, as well as doubling-up as an event and performance space.

Pamela’s is downstairs too. It’s a post-meal party destination covered in pink velvet and fit out with a disco ball that never stops spinning. Pamela’s offers a set of 40 lockers for visitors to stow their belongings in and tequila and mezcal by the bottle for purchase by the bottle - Dancing on tables is highly encouraged.
